What is a life coach?

A life coach is a guide trained to help people work through every day problems and find powerful solutions to create a life that fully aligns with their desires and values. Simone is trained in the philosophy that the client is the expert and she uses exercises to grow the client’s ability to access inner wisdom through intuition, as well as tried and true techniques from current research on increasing happiness. Life coaches do not give advice or mentoring, they ask powerful questions and help you discover your own best answers. Please be aware that a life coach does not address issues that a therapist will, such as severe emotional disturbances and mental health concerns, however, you can work with Simone and your therapist simultaneously like you would a nutritionist and physical trainer.

How much personal information do I need to share for this to be effective?

Sessions are fully confidential. Share as much or little as you are comfortable with. It helps to have a short list of things in your life that you would like to focus your attention on. What area in your life would you like to feel more satisfied with? What would you like to change? Where are you stuck? Where do you need more support? Where do you notice yourself feeling truly happy? Do you have a goal that seems like a long shot to achieve? Do you feel lost and disconnect? We can discuss anything, old or new, to improve your life and achieve your goals.

How do I schedule my first appointment?

Click the blue button below to get directed to the online scheduler to choose the appointment type and time that fits your needs. Next, enter your phone number, email and payment details to secure the session. Discovery Consultations are free. A notification will be emailed directly to Simone regarding your session appointment. Please note that Simone operates in California during Pacific Standard Time.

How do I cancel or modify an appointment?

Please cancel and reschedule your appointment 24 hours in advance. You will be charged for the session otherwise. Email Simone at simone@thepursuitofhappy.life or select CANCEL on your original email confirmation. Please provide Simone with the best phone number and email address to contact you with.

How should I prepare for our first session?

To prepare for your first coaching session, please complete the Coach/Client Agreement and Intake Form. After you have read and signed the agreement and filled out the questionnaire to the best of your ability, send a copy back to simone@thepursuitofhappy.life.

Next, give yourself permission to try something new and have an open mind. Your level of openness to learn different ways of knowing and willingness to practice new skills will determine how this experience goes for you. The more open you are, the more room you leave for this to be incredible. Prepare for your first session by taking several deep breaths in a quiet space where you have total privacy. Get clear on your intention for seeking out life coaching. Imagine this process being fun, empowering and enlightening. Now, just let it all unfold with faith and trust that you are right where you need to be at this time. Simone will lead the call.

How many sessions do I need? How much will this cost?

Every client has their own needs, however, a commitment to four sessions is highly recommended in order to learn the tools and experience the integration. Start off with a complimentary 30 minute Discovery Consultation to learn about Simone and her coaching process. Session length and cost are versatile.

Single Session: 50 minutes: $155
Double Session: 100 minutes: $295
Coaching Package: 4 sessions: $575
Coaching Package: 8 sessions: $1100
Coaching Package: 12 sessions: $1600
Annual Membership: 24 sessions per year: $3000

What is the scholarship and who can apply?

Simone knows that life coaching can be financially restrictive to some people and wants to give everyone an opportunity to experience the benefits. She accepts one scholarship client per week. Each scholarship recipient can schedule two sessions at zero cost. To be eligible, please email Simone at simone@thepursuitofhappy.life and share with her your circumstances and goals.
